We established the Pettiest Officer page as an initial resource for survivors seeking assistance. As the need to support survivors in sharing their stories safely and effectively grew, we developed a dedicated team with a variety of skill sets to address this need. Our team is comprised of members ranging from junior to senior ranks within the Coast Guard, both officer and enlisted, who work collaboratively to provide comprehensive support to each survivor. By integrating diverse perspectives and ideas, we strive to create a safe and supportive environment for all survivors.
Growing up, we're taught there's always help available if we need it, whether from police, clergy, or teachers. But what happens when the predators are the cops, clergy, and teachers? The "Pettiest" exists to expose our own, help survivors find their voices free of persecution, and support our path to healing.
